Steve Jobs speech

First of all I assume that Steve Jobs’ words were incredibly inspiring. In his speech, he was talking about three stories. First he tells about dropping out of college, then about the lessons he learned from being fired by Apple in 1985, and lastly, his reflections on death. Steve Jobs used to ask himself every morning “If today was the last day of my life, would I do what I’m about to do today?”. He tells us to ask ourselves this question every day and if the answer remains no for a long time, it means we’re doing something wrong. “The truth is that every problem you face today has been solved by someone else in the past. And they probably had half the resources as compared to you.” So we should never give up. The main idea of his whole speech was about following your dreams and doing what you love. I also think that if you want to do great work, you need to do what you love. And if you don’t know what you love, keep trying new things until you find the one. Another main idea is that we should never give up and that everything happens for a reason.
