The Independence day

As you know, 21th of September is always unique and interesting in our educational complex. This year we decided to spend the Independence Day at Havuts Tar. As soon as we arrived we started taking pictures near the monument known as “Symphony of the stones”. It is included in the list of natural monuments of Armenia. The natural monument is famous for its magnificent, artificial rocks. These amazing rocks were formed under high pressure by the freezing and crystallization of volcanic lava.

After admiring the beautiful nature and taking pictures, we started climbing to Havuts Tar. Of course, the road was really so difficult, but, however, we tried to climb it by encouraging, helping and cheering each other. Though the road was rocky and rough, I think it was definitely worth climbing to see such a monastic complex.

Havuts Tar (also known as the Savior of Havuts Tar, Havuts Tar Monastery), is a monastery complex, an architectural monument located in the Kotayk region of Armenia, east of the village of Garni, on the left bank of the Azat River, on top of a mountain. It was one of the religious and cultural centers of medieval Armenia.

On the way back we stopped at the monument called “Charents Arch” or “Ararat Arch”. It is located in Voghjaberd village of Kotayk region.

In my opinion all of us had a great day, enjoyed our trip and spend the Independence day in a unique way.
